As part of our ongoing support for our Servicemen and Women, Pulte proudly designates July as our "Month of Honor." As United States troops continue to serve our country and defend our freedoms, we are reminded of the gratitude we owe our military and veterans of war. The experience and abilities veterans bring to Corporate America, and to Pulte Homes in particular, are substantial. Most are educated beyond the norm; many have advanced degrees and extensive training in specialty focus areas. All have benefitted from the leadership training and teamwork dynamics they lived or led throughout their tours of duty. Best of all, the veteran work ethic blends beautifully into our Pulte Culture and today we have hundreds of veterans employed in all functions within our company.

Meet Timothy (Tim) Maneval, a field manager in the South Carolina Coastal Division. In this photo, Tim is a passenger in a Black Hawk helicopter during a tour of duty in Iraq in spring 2007. Tim has had several tours of duty in the Middle East since 9/11 including Kosovo in 2001 and later Afghanistan where he was stationed until 2002. He participated in the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and later returned for his final tour of duty in 2007-2008.
He joined Centex as a junior field manager in April 2005 and was later recalled to active duty. He rejoined the combined company of Pulte Homes and Centex in 2008 after his enlistment in the U.S. Army was complete
