Families are the lifeblood of our company. Today, many families with many different make-ups strive to achieve the 'American Dream' of home ownership. In addition to two-parent families, we have single-parent families, blended or step-families, unmarried-parent families, bi-racial families, extended families, foster families, teen-parent families, same-sex-parent families, and adoptive-parent families. People sometimes call these additional types of families "non-traditional", at Pulte we hope to call them "Home Owners"!

Meet the Sheffield Family, Heidi Sheffield has been with the Southwest Florida Pulte Division since 2003. Heidi and her husband Bruce have been foster parents since 2004 and just adopted their first foster child in March of this year. Luckily for her she enjoys doing all the fun out door activities that the boys do, since she is definitely outnumbered. Heidi's blended family includes 1 adopted son, 1 step-son, 1 foster-son, and 2 biological sons.
