The month of May is a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the U.S.

Since 1992, when George H.W. Bush first designated May as a month to commemorate the immigration of the first Japanese to the U.S. on May 7, 1943 and to mark the anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad on May 10, 1869, this month has been celebrated with community festivals, government sponsored activities and educational activities for students. This year’s theme is “Freedom for All - A Nation We Call Our Own”.

Meet Paolo. Paolo Cembrano, a Southern California GM of customer relations is of Filipino dissent. Paolo says “I believe that having a diverse background, both in terms of nationality and interests, allows me to mirror our client base here in Southern California…this will always give us a business advantage. In a day where people have a tremendous amount of options to choose who they want to do business with, being someone that they can relate to (and trust) will separate us from the pack. With the commitment that the Southern California leadership has toward an inclusive culture and growing a team of diverse thought, we are poised to meet the challenges of this market and the bright future it holds for us.” …and we believe with his passion for Pulte Homes, the future looks very bright for Paolo too!
