Tony and Danielle Calamela Sales Associates, Jacksonville, Florida What has your experience been with the Pulte Home's Flexible Work Arrangement Program? Our experience has been very positive. We are sharing one Sales position in a community with two additional Sales Associates. We work a total of 5 scheduled days, where Tony works 3 and Danielle works 2. We use Tony's email address, only, to avoid any missed electronic communications from both Pulte teammates and customers. Since we live together, we are able to constantly communicate with each other what happened at work each day. When there are scheduled meetings, we take turns attending. The attendee takes good notes and communicates pertinent information to the other. Our teammates within the community and the division are aware that we share a job and have no problem getting in touch with one of us via email, phone, or in person. What are your perspectives regarding employees taking advantage of the FWA program? For our situation, this is absolutely perfect. I think that if other employees were in the same or similar situation as we are in that they should definitely consider job share. How has the use of the FWA program helped you both keep a positive work/life balance?
Our work/life balance could not be more perfect. This opportunity has allowed both of us to remain in the workplace while raising our child together. Both of us are able to continue our careers at Pulte Homes while also enjoying the pleasures of parenthood.
