Success Story: Compressed Work Week

While Pulte's Flexible Work Arrangements Program (FWA) will not work in some situations, my supervisor and colleagues were willing and able to support me in making this FWA a true Win/Win. Although my position requires more than a “typical” 40-hour week, this FWA is working well, allowing me flexibility to be successful on the job and in my personal life.

What advantages have you experienced?
The advantages I have experienced have been many. On the office front, I have been able to maintain my work-related responsibilities and influence. I am able to stay connected with my colleagues and having stable benefits is a blessing.

The arrangement has allowed me a better life balance by pursuing fulfilling non-work activities at different times. I have the opportunity to "shut-off" work so to speak and sharpen the saw which leads to increased creativity and resilience.

My FWA really works best with some portable work, and having a reliable home office with phone and computer connectivity has really helped this situation be as efficient and effective as possible.
