Georgia Division Market Gives Back to the Community This is a photo of the Georgia Division/Market giving back to the community. The Georgia OPS Team along with 2 Sales Counselors took advantage of the companies “Volunteer Time Off”. The group did some, long over due, yard work for a local Senior Citizen in the Atlanta Metro Area. The team really stepped up to support the President’s Challenge, which is to complete 1500 community based volunteer hours for 2008. As Allegro Parker stated, “It was a great opportunity to give back to the seniors in our community and spruce up their yard. Besides, I survived the 10 bee stings.” As one of the seniors said, “I will never forget what Pulte Homes did for me.”

The Webelo (Older Cub Scouts) The Webelo (Older Cub Scouts) visited a local construction site in Windermere (Ashburn VA), to see a home in framing and a home in drywall.
Sales Manager Linda Hoyt, helped organized a visit from the local Webelo (older Cub Scouts) Troop # 1106 led by Den Mother Mrs. Kim Holtom to visit a local construction site for their Engineers’ Badge.
Construction Superintendent Mr. Grant Sacquety at Windermere (Ashburn VA), graciously accepted the responsibility of introducing the young men, aged 9 through 11, to our Community of Windermere, and explained the process of completing a home.
They sent a terrific “Thank You” card to Grant and Linda, which said:
“Dear Linda and Grant, Thank you for taking time to give a tour of Windermere, to Pack 1106’s Webelos Den. We enjoyed learning about the construction process for new homes. We appreciate your time and willingness to spend it with us! It was great hands-on experience! From: Patrick, Jarod, Nathaniel, Joshua, Justin and Den Mother Kim”

The Power of Mentoring This is a photo of the Northeast PMC Area Manager & Northeast PMC Branch Managers. The T-shirts say “Warrior Goddess” across the top, “Fun, Fierce and Fabulous” across the bottom. In the center is a woman doing yoga with the statement, “unleash the warrior goddess in you”.
The Northeast Team has been together for several years and has benefited from mentoring by their Area Manager, Jackie Kane. By being mentored and in turn mentoring those around them, the Northeast PMC Managers have been able to unleash the talents and abilities within. Mentoring has made them stronger, both as individuals and as a team. It has also helped to make the Northeast a force to be reckoned with.
Mentoring has allowed the managers to hone and harness their skills and to provide excellent business results for the company, while having fun too. In addition it has made the Northeast Field Team the “feisty” group in the company.
For the Northeast support and mentoring have been critical components of success and the ability to thrive during the unprecedented challenges of ‘08 & ’09. Without that supportive atmosphere, the Northeast PMC Team would not have been able to attain excellent business results or the respect of their Pulte partners that they enjoy today.
When this atmosphere and relationship is present, an unstoppable force is created.

Michigan Division Playhouse The Michigan division has built a playhouse to be raffled off for the Ronald McDonald House for the 2nd year in a row. Last year we raised over $17,000. Again, we are having 100% of the proceeds going toward the Ronald McDonald Charity House, a very reputable charity. Visitors can enter to win the playhouse by purchasing raffle tickets for $5 each. The Pulte Playhouse will be on display at numerous festivals and events throughout the Detroit-Metropolitan area this summer. The playhouse raffle is put together by our Pulte Homes of Michigan Trade Counsel. Our vendors have been very generous - our playhouse turned out amazing. The playhouse has a safari theme this year and is named "The Children's Safari Station". The raffle will take place later this summer.
